Hello everyone! In this age of social media, we get connected pretty fast but without the room to add much value. It would not be wrong to say we also get disconnected simultaneously by building imaginary boundaries based on our likes and dislikes. I am sure many of you have experienced the world of online forums through Quora and Reddit. But who got the time to engage with every person from a very diverse background, right? I will give you a quick walk through what this is all about. Why an online forum?? 1f600
Here we have a dedicated forum specially for us teachers of PDDUIAS. You can pick up any topic of your choice and we can discuss it calmly minus the frustration of scrolling and missing someone's reply which might have offered what we intend to get from the discussion that we frequently missed in other SM platforms.
Online forums offer distinct advantages compared to other social media platforms like WhatsApp and Facebook, particularly in fostering structured discussions and building communities around specific interests. Forums facilitate more in-depth discussions than the often brief interactions seen on social media platforms. Users can engage in detailed conversations on specific topics without being limited by character counts or superficial commentary typical of platforms like Facebook. Many online forums are organized around particular subjects or themes, allowing members to find and connect with like-minded individuals. This focused environment enhances the quality of conversations as users can dive deeper into specific interests or issues. In contrast, social media platforms tend to amalgamate various topics, which can dilute meaningful exchanges.
Happy posting everyone! Let's make this world a little more breathable with our collective intellects.
